The selected entrepreneurs are young people from the region, aged 18-35, who want to learn more about social entrepreneurship and are interested in regional intercultural exchange. The rise program targets to support young people in developing their business idea and to help them to reach their professional independence. Through this tailor-made approach, they develop concrete ideas that address social or environmental.
RISE (Regional Incubator for Social Entrepreneurs) is implemented by six local incubators from the Western Balkans and coordinated by a consortium of regional and European partners composed of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO), GROUPE SOS Pulse, the South East European Youth Network (SEEYN), the Institut français and the Franco-German Youth Office (FGYO).
By the development of innovative societal solutions on the ground, RISE contributes to reconciliation, stability and prosperity in the region.
