Published by Home page > Resources & publications > PARKUR – Franco-German platform for language learning and vocational training What is PARKUR? Professional integration is an important step in the life of young people and the Franco-German Youth Office (FGYO) has made it one of its priorities. There are many perspectives on the Franco-German labor market, however, language can be an obstacle. The platform PARKUR was designed to help address this difficulty. The platform is made for young people who go on an internship after completing their studies or vocational training, for example by participating in the PRAXES program of the FGYO. PARKUR allows young people to prepare for their internship in the partner country by enabling them to improve their linguistic, professional and intercultural skills. Upon registration and completing their profiles, every member gets assigned a personal tutor who will accompany them through their individual learning process. Thanks to this platform, they can also get in touch with other young people who are or have been in the same situation. PARKUR offers many opportunities for virtual meetings and exchanges. The bilingual Franco-German platform could be made available in other languages in the future. Where to find the platform?
