A direct experience of the French or German culture and way of life is an exciting experience for young people and at the same time one of the best motivations to learn a foreign language! Whether a project-based exchange or an international group exchange, find the program that suits you.
International youth meetings
A stay abroad with interesting activities is particularly useful for the promotion of the linguistic and intercultural skills of children and young people. The FGYO supports numerous exchange programs around sports, culture, the arts, technology, science and social issues. Cooperation between formal and non-formal education as well as independent European projects by young people are also supported.
Project-based programs
Would you like to organize a project with partners from France and Germany, which is practice-oriented and goes beyond the framework of a classical exchange? With Focus, the FGYO promotes projects of schools and associations which combine aspects and activities of formal and non-formal education. Innovative projects initiated by young people under 21 can also join the Young Europeans Award or receive funding in the framework of the 1234 program.
