The FGYO recommends that you read the terms of use (https://www.fgyo.org/terms-use) carefully and warns against the possible misuse of personal data by third parties. Classified ads on the Internet are publicly visible. Furthermore, classified ads are listed in all search engines and can therefore be found easily. As there is always a risk of misuse of data or information, we recommend that you take all measures to protect yourself and your data and generally exercise particular caution on the Internet. Children and young people under the age of 18 must consult their legal guardians before publishing or contacting us.
The FGYO recommends paying attention to the content of the data to be published, protecting your own privacy (e.g. by using a pseudonym or abbreviating your name) and only responding promptly and appropriately to serious inquiries. When publishing your classified ad, pay attention to what data you should sensibly publish. Do not include private addresses, telephone numbers or links to social media such as Instagram or similar. If you are asked to make payments of any kind (including vouchers and gift cards) or receive questionable or racist messages, please report this to: webmaster@ofaj.org
Minors should never read the classified ad requests on their own to ensure that the requests are not dishonest. Ideally, parents or other legal guardians should read the requests alone first and delete unfair requests before minors see them.
The data you are transmitting (your name, your email address and if necessary your phone number) will be saved and used to answer your request when you use our contact form. These are essential information for processing your demand. We will delete this data once your request has been treated or store it if a legal retention period is applicable. Your data will be treated solemnly by the competent person or service of our organization. Due to the data Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz – BDSG) and the French Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on Information Technology, Data Files and Civil Liberties (the "Data Protection" Act) you have the following rights: a right of access and a right to rectification that entitle you to have your personal data altered, supplemented or updated; a right of erasure with respect to inaccurate, incomplete, ambiguous or outdated data, or data whose collection, use, disclosure or storage is prohibited; a right to object to the processing of your data on legitimate grounds; a right to object, without grounds, to the use of your data for direct marketing purposes; a right to issue guidance on what is to be done with your personal data after your death; a right to data portability in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format; a right to restriction of processing under the terms and conditions set out in Article 18 of EU Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016; a right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in particular in the Member State of his or her habitual residence; in France, this is the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés – the CNIL).
