Internship context:

The CIR-Togo association has been working since its creation to promote sustainable culture, environmentally-friendly behavior and African culture. The head office is located in Kpalimé, Togo's most dynamic city in terms of tourism, culture and the arts.

In the field of tourism, CIR Togo's main activity is organizing hikes to discover the plateau region with its cultures, history, fauna and flora. As a young association with activities that are still limited but extremely dynamic, CIR Togo is keen this year to develop its offerings and improve its reputation.

This year, in partnership with local cultural groups and numerous French organizations, the association has carried out the Cascade Verte Project. This involves redeveloping the trail leading to a waterfall with the aim of creating an eco-tourism activity run by local residents. To anchor the project in its continuity, serious follow-up is required (meeting with the site management committee, communication, development of tourist offers linked to the site, ...).

Objectives of the internship:

  • Support the networking of cultural organizations
  • Dance, percussion and theater training.....
  • Communication
  • Information gathering
  • Visit and analysis of cultural groups with a view to carrying out a census (cultural groups and the prefectures of Kloto, Agou, Kpélé and Danye)
  • Research for internal/external Partners
  • Development of information synergies

Profile sought:

Candidate profile:

Graduate studies in culture, sustainable development or project management

Required skills:

Mastery of office tools (Pack office)

Knowledge of DTP tools (Illustrator, Indesign etc..) is a plus

Working language: French; fluency in English is a plus
