Context:

ELDA (Evaluations and Language Resources Distribution Agency, www.elda.org)'s main activities are the distribution and production of language resources, as well as the evaluation of language technologies (machine translation, speech recognition, etc.).

As part of its production activities, ELDA is offering a full-time position for a German transcriber (M/F) to build up a corpus of transcriptions.

Mission:

The aim is to transcribe 2 hours of telephone conversations in the financial field in order to evaluate and improve the automatic transcription system. The work will be carried out via software and according to specific transcription conventions. Training in the software and conventions will be provided by the employer. The assignment will necessarily take place at the client's premises (Montrouge).

Profile required:

  • Native German speaker with very good spelling and grammar skills
  • Good knowledge of the English language to follow and understand transcription conventions
  • Good command of IT tools
  • Ability to integrate transcription rules and follow them scrupulously and consistently.

Duration: 3 weeks full-time.

Salary: €1982.33 monthly gross based on 35h.
