Presentation
Do you want to meet like-minded young people in an intercultural environment? How does going to France or Germany to participate in a cultural exchange program sound? Cultural exchanges and increasing intercultural understanding are two of the FGYO’s top priorities!
Whether you like to sing, play an instrument, dance or act on the stage, our arts and culture meet-ups are an opportunity to take part in specific workshops, where you can exchange ideas and get creative alongside like-minded amateurs and professionals.
A youth exchange like this is an excellent opportunity to experience either French or German culture and to learn about everyday life in the country you are visiting while staying with a host family or in a youth hostel with your peers.
Furthermore, you do not have to be fluent in French or German to participate. You will have the chance to acquire language skills by participating in fun language animation activities during the program.
At the end of every meet-up there will be the chance to present your work as part of an exhibition, concert or presentation. Together both you and the hosting institutions, organizations and cities will benefit from the cultural exchange program organized by our partners.

Advantages of the program
You will be able to exchange ideas about your artistic method while at the same time being as creative as possible during this cultural exchange. You will also have the chance to work on a project. Use this chance to prepare to show your project in a unique and stimulating environment.
It is well known that artists do not necessarily need words to understand each other. By taking part in our art and culture meet-ups, you can experience this first-hand while learning about life in France or Germany.
Taking part in a cultural exchange program is first and foremost a chance to meet like-minded young people who share common interests. Use the chance to learn from each other and make new friends from other countries!
How to sign up
It is important to note that the FGYO does not organize the meet-ups, it only provides financial support for its partner organizations and institutions. If you want to participate in a meet-up contact them.
