This online event, organised by Europa Direkt e.V., is dedicated to the situation of youth organisations and young people in Ukraine.

We have recently received a number of enquiries regarding the activities of Ukrainian NGOs, their current projects and work priorities, the changes in everyday project work that have been forced by the russian aggression, as well as the situation and prospects of young people in Ukraine. These queries have often centred on the possibility of international cooperation within the framework of intercultural youth projects.

In order to give you the opportunity to obtain first-hand information on this and other topics, we would like to invite you to a meeting on

Tuesday, 19 December between 14:00 - 15:00.

We have invited representatives of two Ukrainian organisations with different profiles and fields of activity to report on their work, challenges and future plans.

After the presentation of those two organisations, which are briefly introduced in the attached invitation, we will open a Q&A session.

The Franco-German Youth Office would like to strengthen the partnerships between the FGYO network and organisations from the CEE region.

In this region, Ukraine is undoubtedly the country where the situation is the least clear, so some of you are wondering whether or under what circumstances it is possible to organise intercultural projects with participants from Ukraine, or which projects would make the most sense from the point of view of the Ukrainian partners at the moment.

The meeting will be held in English.
